Today Nam-Warunee, a Thai citizen, was freed after 18 months in prison for a lèse-majesté conviction. Her crime is a satirical post mocking the royal costume-changing ceremony of the Emerald Buddha. She also endured a 46-day hunger strike to protest repeated denial of bail.
