for fellow boomers...
Watching Gen Z organizing its activism using social media and internet messaging, does anyone remember how the October 20 Moratorium was brought together nationwide?

Just discovered that World Knot Tying Day is on the same day as No Kings Day.
Let's practice tying nooses.

All US ships should be barred from entering all international ports as retaliation for its act of piracy on the high seas.

A hint of path for social building. A few years ago, as part of experiment, I began wearing a name tag. Just simple black letters on white, engraved tag "Bill". No politics, no employer, just "Bill".
It is amazing how friendly and outgoing people become simply because you are human, with a name.

The Philippines, which Is now home, has a litter problem. One third of the ocean's plastic waste originates in the Philippines :-( I designed, had printed, and hung this on my gate. (I have several more that I hope I can distribute to friends)

Politics is the method, be it democracy or dictatorship of some flavor, by which we distribute scarce resources, generally money and power.
What if we approach governance by seeing need to create abundance rather that just divvying up what seems scarce?
You become post-political.

society are directed at getting rid of
what we do not want rather than
getting what we do want. Getting rid

in getting something worse. ”

It's rather sad, and very revealing of 'murican society (and I use the term loosely), when money is seen as the only possible motivating factor for protesting, or doing much of anything.

Please explain. If americans bear the cost of tariffs on imports to america, why don't europeans bear the cost of US goods imported by Europe? Why do foreign tariffs cost US consumers?? This makes no sense, and seems a scare tactic.

I can't figure out why people expect the Dems to save them. Both parties are part of the same system.

"Majority rules" (democracy) is just an iteration of "might makes right."

"Politics" is how we decide how to distribute scarce things.
Well, when you approach a problem assuming scarcity, you end up with scarcity and having to choose winners and losers.
Life is abundant. Approach problems with abundance.
We need to move beyond politics to consultative, collaboration
