This small video shows 3 useful features:
• built-in tmux support for session restoration with thumbnails
• dictation that requires iOS 26 as earlier transcription models worked poorly
• picture-in-picture terminal to check progress when using other apps

Working Copy is a large app with a lot of functionality and I wasn’t able to complete a iOS 26 version for day 1.

But I expect to have something ready next month matching the Liquid Glass aesthetic where the main menu on iPadOS 26 will be the most substantial improvement.

S3 has a concept of pre-signed links granting temporary access to a single file.

My S3 client uses this for minimal-infrastructure sharing of files and upload of files where the other part just needs a web browser.

We might one day be able to run fast+good LLMs on-device for co-pilot-like auto completions.

But today you can update to Working Copy 6.3.1 and use your own Ollama endpoint.

Working Copy has had text completion through OpenAI compatible endpoints for a while. Latest beta adds support for Claude and ollama.

Many people have wanted to use Gemini for AI completion and while all the credit goes to Google this is now possible with the OpenAI compatible endpoint:

Use a model like gemini-1.5-flash and generate the API key inside Google Cloud Console.

Working Copy 6.2.3 was just released bringing AI suggested commit messages to the Shortcuts app.

Unfortunately the Commit Repository action now requires iOS 17 or later.
