The rain won’t stop us! #UptownKidLit is off to a great start with a comedy workshop, drag story time, Tanya Wright with Harriette of Harlem, and a bengali tabletop role playing game! Plus soooo many Free books and school supplies for registrants.

We’re making sustainability a priority at this years festival! Thanks to Friends of Inwood Hill Park, we’ll be recycling & composting in the park, something that the city parks does not do. Additionally, we’ll provide water refill stations, so don’t forget your reusable bottles!

We’ll be at the park tomorrow bright and early setting up the in rain ☔️ which should clear up by the time programming begins at 11:45am. Please be aware of the wet ground and chairs, along with a possible delay in scheduling. We hope the rest of the day is bright and warm ☀️⛅️
