I drove this mighty beast, a @Volkswagen Beetle with a Porsche 356 powertrain, in the @millemigliaofficial a few years ago.
Greg Kable and I nicknamed him “Bruce the Benz Eater” for his penchant for passing Gullwings.
Now it’s official. The Volkswagen Museum calls him “Bruce”.
Dead chuffed.

Mercedes-Benz insists the new G500 is just fine with a turbocharged six and some hybrid gear.
V8-loving G500 owners I know say this isn’t a real G500.
Where do you stand?
I mean, it does most things pretty well, but just doesn’t sound like a G500. No rumble, no glory.

I can’t understand if it’s a scam of some sort or someone has found a genius way to store weird shitters. #weirdcars

He’s already a guy that goes the extra mile.

Here’s how so many publications got it wrong.

The @bmw 3 Series Touring: the easy answer to people who buy SUVs for “the space and comfort”.
All that, but actual handling as well. Other than the increasingly complex infotainment systems, there’s little to fault in the plug-in hybrid version.
