If Trump wakes people up to the fact that authoritarian regimes only work for the connected few and represses the average citizen, then maybe we can reclaim our democracy and show some commitment and pride in our country and ourselves. Or, the great American experiment has failed on our watch.

Should we behave responsibly when our leaders are corrupt, unaccountable, and abusive? We only play into their hands when we cooperate or just “let it slide” and eventually reward their atrociousness.

The inmates are running the asylum right now. They have no idea how crazy they are, which makes them even more dangerous. Trying to profit off the madness just adds to the chaos. This is quickly becoming a humanitarian crisis. It’s affecting the entire planet with no real short term resolution.
