The wild garlic at the gardens of the BSS Faculty is going… wild. Pharmacist H Munting opened them in the 17th century. He kept exotic plants he got from his foreign friends there.

❄️ We prepared stories and interviewed each other for January because we were on winter break. Hedwig's story is about an old book on witches in Groningen. Agustín talks about Martina, a mysterious Gronings jazz singer and her 1960 hit record.

This weekend you could enjoy the sight of many historical boats at WinterWelVaart. Some nautical themes can also be explored in one of our episodes with Constance Willems (S2E2) on the history of knitting in Groningen.
