A shout out to Milwaukee County Transit System for placing a rose 🌹 and a "reserved" sign on the buses on 12/1 to honor the life and courage of Rosa Parks, Claudette Colvin, and all who made a seat available for everyone. On Dec 1, 1955, Sister Rosa refused to give up her seat and was arrested.

DisasterVictim, Sharon T with one of the 3 dumpsters needed for the burned out rubble of her home. It is 5 1/2 feet high and 20 feet long and holds 3 tons. Lindsey hired a strong man at $10 an hour to help load. (Lindsey is 70 and Sharon is 86.) Link is in my bio...please help these good people!

Sharon and her three cats are awfully traumatized by Hurricane Helene and Milton. Her furbabies are very intimidated by feral cats, try to hide, they are twitching which is new behavior and are not eating very well. Please see the link in my bio to help this family.

It rained all night and dropped to 40 degrees in Florida. Pretty cold for a tent. Water puddled in the tarp on top. Sharon,86, a hurricane disaster victim gets discouraged when possums and snakes enter the tent. She is lucky to have a microwave, crockpot, and coffeepot. Please help. Link in my bio.

C-rations are not exactly fine cuisine. They have the consistency of glue. My friend, Sharon, an 86 year old homeless hurricane survivor, mixes cans of vegetables with them...still awful.
