Our Man Bashir. I could bathe a long while in Bashir and Garak's romantic tension. Avery Brooks plays a fantastic villain, Nana Visitor puts on a funny accent. It's a perfect episode.

As a DS9 fanboy with a hologram obsession, this episode made me feel really normal. I didn't go insane at all. I'm not crying, either. I didn't burst into tears at the end. Normal episode.

The future doesn't exist, time is just built up by the endless now, and it's choices all the way through. Contentedness is a choice I also try to make all the time, by consideration of opportunity and willpower. I know my limits well enough to know when I've done all I can.

Forever isn't worth contemplating, we only have the present moment. Contentedness to me is accepting that I've done what I can right now to improve my lot, but that I've hit some limit of opportunity or willpower.
