Coil pack was fine. Alt was not. But we still have misfire at quarter throttle or more with a new fuel pump and other goodies.

Things accomplished for the day. Shed re ordered (Notice the 2.0 turbo to the left for the Baja). Dump run, @wolfrik.chef.dog set up the carport for the first time. We have had it at least six years. We are gearing up for a big fall! Almost working indoors.

So today, we started shopping around for transmission/ torque converter options.
New converter installed 350.
Used 5 speed installed 850.
Trans in shed installed 100.
Wrx trans in shed installed 450.
Long term goal is a low ratio 5 speed. That is option 2.
So, no brainer for 850 Bob.

So on the way home up the 460 Christiansburg grade. I got a bit of slipping in 4th gear lockup as I purposefully loaded it to capacity.
Not good for a 300,000 mile automatic transmission.
Top outback fluid 20k from service.
Bottom Baja fluid.
I am going to flush, but see a 5 speed in my future.

So tonight I helped someone repair there pinball machine. A 1983 machine. So vintage. I had to figure things out, but once I had the voltage to wiring harness color code sorted. I was able to find the break in the 5 volt line.
Now I want a Elvira pinball machine.
Scared Stiff of course!

Another bountiful harvest from the garden. Looks like we are going to get some special stuff soon. Anaheim harvest #2 Aji golden harvest #37? It just does not stop producing. Tomato harvest #3. ... We might get one more harvest out of everything before frost. Perhaps. Here is hoping!
