additionally, go to a local show. Go see a band perform live. check out every band on the bill. if you can’t make it to a show, tell yr friends about it. live music is going to become crucial for maintaining community going forward.
i know it was hip to leave Spotify last year, this year you should quit streaming altogether. if you actually care about the music you listen to, change your habits.

Recently a great band we know with an *excellent* live show, who work incredibly hard, play a ton & promote the hell out of their shows posted a response they received from a label who flat out turned them down *specifically* for not having enough Spotify monthly listens.
