A 4,716.47-hectare fire burning 1.3 kilometres north of Elkin Creek has prompted two evacuation alerts. The fire is posing a potential danger to life and health in the Scum Lake Area and could block Taseko Lake Rd., prompting an alert for Xeni Gwet'in as well.

The Bosk Lake fire continues to burn out of control but has no grown from its 404 hectares. Across the Cariboo, 26 wildfires are active and thirteen are out of control.
