EPA's new draft rule further narrows “waters of the U.S.,” stripping protections from rivers, streams, wetlands, and drinking water. After last year’s Supreme Court rollback, this move puts communities, wildlife, and clean water at even greater risk.

At the IUCN World Conservation Congress, fossil fuels were deemed a threat to nature, with over 80% of governments and 95% of NGOs backing Motion 042. This sets the stage for COP30 in Belém and the upcoming International Conference for Phasing Out Fossil Fuels.
