I was saddened this morning to hear of the passing of Todd Snider. So many memories of his career...1st time I saw him Atlanta, shooting hoops with him outside La Zona Rosa Austin, being guest of the artist at Austin City Limits and meeting Dan Rather, hanging out in Luckenbach...RIP troubadour

Bravo to the ACC for giving viewers live access to the video review booth. Rugby and cricket have been doing this for years, glad American sports are catching up.

Congratulations to Cary’s Jaxon Williams, son of Justin, on making the US roster for the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, which will be held in Czechia and Slovakia August 11-16.
1715 miles down, zero to go. We decide to forgoe extracurricular activities and press hard for home (but we did sing Country Roads as we drove through Charleston). Mount Vernon, IL to Chez Campbel...11+ hours in one day, but we made it and sleep in our own beds tonight.

980 miles down, 730 to go. We stopped a little earlier than normal so I could be in the hotel for Game 2 of the ECF. Saw the world's largest shuttlecocks, a Rodin, some cool art and ate some great BBQ in KC & the Arch and a Mighty River in STL before making our way to Mount Vernon, IL for the night.

Driving Molly home from CSU. 590 miles down, 1130 miles to go. Made it to Topeka tonight. Highlights today were seeing the World's Largest Easel and Wheatfield Jesus on a billboard.
