Howdy, I'm a long time Half-Life modder currently trying to be a game dev! I've put Spyro into Half-Life, just about done putting Doomguy into Quake, and working on a retro 3d platformer featuring a fox with a gun!

Since people asked, Blender has an example mesh, which is this monkey head. There is a community addon that can export the meshes as a .map for Quake, HL, etc. There are clear limits to how complex the geometry can be, but it is neat!

Made a flag for the entity spawner to only work when you aren't looking at the spawner itself.

didn't like how the upper half was textured, so I've redone it. This definitely fits the tone more, it was too clean and bright previously.
