ended up rereading kubikiri cycle along with the anime, last read it 5 years ago so I didn't remember that much.
the adaption was pretty good, but the novel was definitely better. I guess that's how it goes with almost everything though.
never got around to reading kubishime, so that is up next!

the mansion in kubikiri cycle is a little different from what i remember in the novel, lol. kinda cool though. it's fun to see zaregoto animated
