Flat performance. Strange/negative selection from UE. Formation suggested more concern about nullifying NUFC, than trying to attack them. However, a great defensive effort and strong debut from Bizot. Onto the next. Up The Villa #avfc

I’d put money on a new deal over a sale
A departure may no longer be ruled out, but due to recent form I can’t see anyone coming with a substantial offer.
Managable salary, club trained factors etc
Currently, a good squad player who won’t cause a fuss being on bench. Upsides from there #avfc

There has been no rush to move for Jacob Ramsey. He has two years left on his deal and an extension may well happen soon. It would take a considerable fee for #AVFC to sell. But the sense of outrage to even countenance an offer is no longer there, regardless of contract length
It once seemed unthinkable for Jacob Ramsey to leave.
Now all parties are amenable to the idea. There is credence to that - one league goal last season, 270 days missed through injury in 23 & 24. But #AVFC love him at his best - can he get back to that?

Feels like some #avfc fans still dont get it. SCR is a real thing. I don’t like it, but we are where we are. Spurs, Newcastle blah blah blah. They have the financial position to make moves, we don’t. Asensio never made sense in SCR. Once we make a sale things will evolve, for now hold tight #UTV

But I think it’s clear anything might be possible this summer. If we don’t get acceptable offers on Martinez, Watkins, Kamara etc then other scenarios might become a reality. Jacob uses the words prefer to keep, doesn’t rule it out
