As someone who doesn’t drink, something I know purely because I travel is that champagne is sparkling wine, but not all sparkling wine is champagne. Only sparkling wine produced in Champagne, France (& a couple exceptions) are allowed to be called Champagne. Spain calls theirs cava.

I just did the funniest thing. I have a friend who I bonded with over our love of Beyoncé. She had to have emergency surgery recently so I ordered her a bouquet of white roses and wrote a little message and signed it “Love you deep, B” 🤭
She’ll know who it’s from, but it will make her laugh.
