This is def not canon but in mmo's i usually go with:
~ 1 year per dlc
Mainly bc i refuse to believe so many world-ending events + resolutions can happen in the span of like, several weeks lol.
This also gives my oc some downtime between adventures & allows for aging them up as the game goes on

Does anyone know of any plain looking pants that could work for medieval-style outfit in FFXIV? Seems like most basic pants are modern style like the Frontier trousers which isnt what im looking for

I can't believe it took me until Baelsar's Wall to realize most dungeon music is a remix of other locales or theme songs in the game 🤦♂️
Now i finally understand why so many dungeon soundtracks felt familiar but i couldn't figure out exactly why 😅

Em's starting city was Ul'dah
Lorewise it's bc he's from Ishgard so I wanted his foray into Eorzea to feel otherworldly (extreme cold vs. extreme heat) juxtaposed with the class divide & politics of Ul'dah being very familiar to him
Gameplaywise it's bc i wanted him to be Black mage for ARR lol
