This is currently me as I try to enjoy the longest bout of time off I’ve ever had (2 weeks). I’m sitting here fighting the urge to be productive. Or at the very least, focusing as much time on hobbies and camaraderie as I can.
Telling me that I should be spending this time being productive. Doing something, anything, other than enjoying what I’m currently enjoying. If you’ve ever been poor and without a support system you realize very quickly that YOU are responsible for your own survival because there’s no net.

UPDATE: had lunch today with an old friend who helped me get through this time; I owed her thousands back then.

I sold my copy of twilight imperium last year because I got sick of playing it with people who take it far too seriously, but the new expansion really has me wanting another copy, but nobody to (casually) play with.
