All in all, I had a great time despite some troubles and missing out on a few things.
If nothing else, the two hours of ugly crying I did driving home after dropping the peeps off at the airport is proof that I love it and I will go again.

I'm tired in more ways than one.
I have a lot on my mind. First work meeting of the year and essentially the old guard at my work is retiring.
A lot of people, who quite frankly overstayed because we had a lot of imminent emergency projects (don't worry, it's the nature of our type of work), delayed their retirement.
So cheers.

Dang, this is heartbreaking. I remember seeing him so many times over the years.
I remember convincing my family to take me to the academy for my birthday in high school. My brother, who was driving, got a ticket because we were in the wrong lane to get on the Bay Bridge.

It's with heavy hearts that we share that Claude, our beloved albino alligator, has passed away at the age of 30. Claude brought joy to millions of people at the Academy and across the world during his 17 year tenure. We will miss him dearly. 🤍
