I think there’s a chance the World Cup will be weird. Non-zero chance itll be rigged in the US favor though so that’d be something.

I feel like Matt Campbell has a better shot at being a perineal playoff coach at Iowa State than Penn State. Of course, I say that with the knowledge Penn St has the lead in that category 1-0.

Iowa being a solid team still with an old coach in this weird era of college football is somewhat impressive. Would be nice if they get another magical 2002, 2009 or 2015 season and get into the playoffs. Also if the expanded playoffs had always been a thing I’m curious as to how Iowa would be

It’s kind of annoying that with the way college football is now that Indiana vs Ohio State, while not meaningless (i think winning a conference championship is still meaningful) is kind of diminished. 1 v 2 for the championship of a major conference mattered years ago. Now it’s about bubble playoff

I would take a replay of Iowa’s 2016 effort at the Breslin Center. 2021 too but there were no fans and that Michigan State team sucked.
