I have to carry this message on for others to see, and also share that I'm in this position as well. Please don't let me fool you with my things, my knowledge, my reputation... I've been barely earning more than $10k/year for the last three years. I have help while I work on mental health.
I only ever got to this point because initially, I was living with my parents 4 cheap after uni.
Then, got lucky with a YouTube video blowing up.
Then, got lucky and found a part time job thats wfh.
I split all current expenses w/my partner.
But compared to my non-artist peers, I earn *very* little.

Many full time creatives have “invisible safety nets” like bread-winning partners, trust funds, external support, etc. No shame on anyone, but it creates a false vision of success. The cost of going to cons alone on top of hoping to eat as a freelancer are untenable, IMO.

I did post one thing naughty today but gave it some thought and deleted it as I think it would make more sense to do an AD account instead. Just a case of my followers having been here a good while now and many didn't necessarily sign up for outright NSFW/porn content. I'll set that up shortly ^^
