My husband surprised me with a new keyboard and mouse for my laptop in my favorite color scheme. They both just ~feel~ better than my old set. I can't explain it, but I am very happy. And yes, finally sitting down to write. Away we go!

I only managed 705 words yesterday after a day of wrangling my nephew. It’s so easy to get caught up on the low number, but I’m choosing to be proud of myself for still sitting down and making time to write on a day where it would have been so easy to tell my keyboard to fuck off.

First hour down! 1037 words. I just mixed two loaves of sourdough bread, I’m going to start prepping dinner (it’s a multistage process) then I’ll be back for another hour.

I took this coming week off from my day job to focus on my writing project since I’ve made a lot of progress in planning it out. Someone, anyone, hold me accountable. I even bought myself a nice little gardening reward for the first 10k words at the dispensary.

they didn’t leak it to make the shooter look innocent, but to make the victim look guilty. not guilty of a crime. guilty of having a visibly queer wife. guilty of liberalism. guilty of opposing the regime. they don’t seek to exonerate themselves, only to demonstrate who deserves to die.
In the video that the shooter took, which I believe was leaked to be exculpatory, he appears to yell “fucking bitch” after he shoots Renee Good.
