Crockett: "Everyone wants to talk about how Maduro was illegitimate. As we sit here on January 6, I do want to be clear: somebody else was trying to be a Maduro of the United States. Somebody else wanted to do the exact same thing. The difference is Maduro was successful."

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s district in northwest Georgia is considered safely Republican. However, her departure, coupled with the death of Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-California) this week, has left Republicans clinging to a razor-thin House majority.
Georgia sets special election for Marjorie Taylor Greene’s House seat
The March 10 election will decide who serves the remainder of her term for the state’s 14th District following her high-profile split from President Trump.

people wanting to be fooled forever, a.k.a. the Republicans, and the conman converting his own lie into the truth in his brain, a.k.a. infantile omnipotence personality disorder.
In 2020, prominent Trump supporters falsely claimed some voting machine vendors were secretly Venezuelan companies programmed to flip votes toward Biden. Now, right-wing figures argue Nicolás Maduro’s capture was aimed at securing evidence to affirm that belief. https://bit.ly/4qKRwwG
Election deniers think Maduro’s capture will expose plot to steal 2020

Trump does whatever he wants, Republicans in Congress claim that they are unaware of everything he’s doing. and 6 Supreme Court justices overturn every court decision.

The Republic is broken.

Yarvin is at best a middle schooler. naive rather than lunatic. the tech bros' world is a huge kindergarten. they never know how a real society functions.
JD Vance has cited Curtis Yarvin as an influence and follows him on X.

Here is Yarvin defending his own recent praise for Hitler.

Too bad there is no longer a White House press corps.

Someone might have asked about this association.
Curtis Yarvin has written a very long screed in defense of his post in which he said, “Hitler spoke the truth.”

A sampling of select portions is below and includes, in reference to Jewish people, the words:

“The only way to tell is the name and the nose.”

you know why he can do it? bcz lawless repubs are in the majority in the congress? bcz of red hat morons? no, bcz of John Roberts.
If Trump is really stealing spending power from Congress then it would be insanity for Democrats to vote to fund the government later this month. Shut it down until the president stops wiping his ass with the Constitution.

Machado offered to share her Nobel Peace Prize with Trump if she could run Venezuela.

Maduro’s VP offered to give Trump 30 million barrels of oil if their regime could remain in power.

Trump took the oil.

probably Massie is referring to the fact that DOJ is insisting not only victims' but also the names and issues that are considered as "private" can be redacted and that's what the law requires. in such a case, any name can be redacted.
Thomas Massie tonight says DOJ is citing laws that don’t apply to hide key parts of the Epstein files: “They’re still trying to protect billionaires, politically connected people, and trying to obscure the involvement of our own intelligence agencies.”

This is the kind of thing that the Founders explicitly designed our constitution to prevent; a president who has seized wealth for his own benefit without any intervention from Congress, which in our system is supposed to be the holder of the power of the purse.
