Another oldie but goodie. This was for a client project, a limited edition craft beer label design that was ultimately silkscreened in light grey on black powder coated glass bottles. I had never drawn skeletons and I got immediately hooked on all the fun details!

Another oldie but goodie. This was for a client project, a limited edition craft beer label design that was ultimately silkscreened in light grey on black powder coated glass bottles. I had never drawn skeletons and I got immediately hooked on all the fun details!

Concept sketch versus final product. She’s still my most fave piece I’ve ever done. She was born out of yet another doodle session, where I let my brain decide what evolves out of a loose collection of lightly scribbled lines. Like finding pictures in clouds.

Dear UPS Canada: a $100+ brokerage fee for a $66 supply order from the UK, on otherwise duty- and tariff-free goods? You’re out of your knobbly gourd.
If I’d known how to self-clear through customs, I’d have paid $6.10 to cover gov’t taxes on import. That’s ALL.

Wow. Scientific researchers and students take note: this includes research papers as well, so be sure to check for any publications you’ve got in your name to see if you’re owed compensation. Checked for mine (published early 2000s) but it wasn’t there thankfully.
