Austin Tice's mother Debra said a "significant source" that has been vetted has confirmed that Tice is alive and being "treated well." Tice disappeared in Syria in August 2012.

President Biden announced both Lebanon and Israel have agreed to a 60 day ceasefire. He said the deal was meant to be a “permanent cessation of hostilities.” The ceasefire comes after 14 months of fighting, the last two of which Israel has waged a devastating aerial and ground campaign.
