For me Murderbot’s short episodes = Saturday morning TV serials of my childhood: Buck Rogers & Flash Gordon, which themselves were recycled Saturday serials for an earlier generation of movie palace viewers. I miss Ming the Merciless’ sputtering, sparking jellybean shaped rocket.
