rebellious_merch✨ Think of this shop as the chaotic love child of a T.J. Maxx and a feminist coven… raised far, FAR away from the likes of Hobby Lobby💀Cute décor? Yes.Christian nationalism? Absolutely the f✦ck not.Tradwife vibes? BLOCKED🙅🏻‍♀️And the best part:🖤 The “Women Don’t Owe You Shit” design → 10% of proceeds go to @freefromdotorg a national nonprofit building collective financial power & long-term safety for survivors of gender-based violence; especially Black, brown, Indigenous, queer, trans, & disabled survivors most impacted by abuse and systemic inequity.🌙 The “Introverted but Passionate About Deporting ICE Straight To Hell” Collection → 10% to @chirla_org - They protect immigrant families through legal aid, advocacy, and building a world where migration isn’t criminalized.🇵🇸 The entire Free Palestine Collection → 100% to @thepcrf - PCRF delivers medical care, humanitarian aid, and tangible hope for Palestinian children tragically affected by g3n0c/de & living under occupation.Trads have Hobby Lobby. We have witch-core liberation merch with mutual aid sprinkled on top✨🌝🖤 • Link’s in the usual spot, happy browsing💫 •• [ @rebellious_merch ] •• [ @macgyveringmom22 ] #FemimistMerch #MutualAid #LeftistMerch #WitchyMerch #TradWife #Tradwifememes #ChristianNationalism #nohatelikechristianlove #holidayshoppingmadeeasy #feministgiftsView all comments

This is an Eastern Cape giant cycad. This specimen at Kew Gardens is the world's oldest potted plant* & it is older than the United States.
I found this oddly comforting? Certain systems seem deeply entrenched & unchangeable but in reality there are houseplants that have been around longer.🧪🌿

Don’t forget us—my children and I are still exposed to the cold at night and the heat by day. They cry, we endure. We need your help to get a tent, at least. 💔

The magical thing about documentaries is their ability to capture a moment, often by accident. This interview about a doc about Kensington Market illustrates how being at the right place and time--even if it takes nearly a decade--can result in something more literary than narrative films.
Toronto filmmaker Stuart Clarfield speaks with NEXT about "Kensington Market: The Heart of the City", screening tonight (Thurs., Nov. 13) as part of the Architecture and Design Film Festival at TIFF Lightbox.
