#OnThisDay in 1896, The Works of Geoffrey Chaucer was published by the Kelmscott Press 📚 It marked the final publication personally overseen by William Morris before his death. A true labour of love, it was the result of four years of close collaboration between Morris and Edward Burne-Jones.

It’s World Environment Day! We’re thinking about how much Morris loved and valued the natural world not just in his art, but in how he lived🌍

As pioneer of sustainable craft and thoughtful design, Morris taught us that art and nature are deeply intertwined🌱 🌈

William Morris's Strawberry Thief design was registered #onthisday in 1883!

His most recognised design was inspired by the thrushes stealing strawberries in the garden of his Oxfordshire residence, Kelmscott Manor. It is still a bestselling design to this day🍓
