Well dressing (didn't realise others don't learn about this until far into my 20s)
Inspired by Great British Menu, we're talking about the very specific local things we learnt about at school that people elsewhere didn't. For me, it was writer, composer and abolitionist Ignacious Sancho. For Si, it was the Spinning Jenny. What hyperlocal things did other people learn about?

Got a Fitbit for Christmas. Since returning to work my number of steps suddenly shot up, purely based on how much I wave my arms around during calls.
