I don't even remember asking about gay people or having a big moment where I learned about it as a kid. I probably just casually heard people of the same gender can date and marry at some point and that was pretty much that; I grew up just kinda knowing it was a thing. Wasn't confusing at all lol

I know this feeling and I've sorta fallen into the same thing, it feels like talking about characters just got a lot harder as time went on.

I've never played Dead By Daylight, but every time I see gameplay footage from it, it's ALWAYS a survivor player bullying the absolute crap out of the killer

Yeah, the only reason I'm not still fuming is because that employee actually helped me. I was really stressed and angry until I finally got some actual help. And their customer service phone system is just like. A labyrinth

Context is they started billing me $80-something a month for a package that was given to me with the promise I wouldn't have to pay THAT much for it, and it's been hard to get to anyone who can fix it. I can't edit my own services. Turns out I never should have been paying at all!!

Like it was never supposed to even be my bill. The human I finally got in contact with acknowledged that my case was *badly* mishandled, should not have happened, and that they'd try to see if they could fix the bills I've already had to pay.

Frontier situation update: apparently I never should have been paying this bill. They sent a field team to my location too early, signed me up before the contract with apartment management was finished, and that is why they have been overcharging me for this expensive stuff I don't need.

Yeaaah apparently apartments can just start requiring you to use a specific ISP when you renew your lease now, it feels so scummy because the ISP then just gets a free pass to be shit, since no one in the area can switch to a competitor anymore

Now I get to pay more for worse internet and almost nonexistent customer service. Awesome! If I called my old ISP I could talk to a human in minutes. With Frontier I get absolutely fuckall.

I wish it wasn't legal for apartment complexes to force all their residents onto a new ISP. My old ISP was better in every way and the new one is driving me up the wall. This shit should be illegal and I should get to pick my own damn ISP and stay with them.

I didn't even know she was getting a movie until I saw a poster outside while walking in to see Iron Lung. I actually physically slowed down for a second and squinted at it in a brief "what the fuck" moment before continuing my march into the theater lmaoo

It was a really good theater experience!! I'd been wanting to see the movie for so long, waited on news about it, and I had bought my ticket over a month ago. And I'm saying as someone who fucking loved the game that I fucking loved the movie. I'm just so happy right now. Great adaptation

I'm a huge fan of the game's world and lore and the movie DELIVERED. Acting was solid, really cool sound design, cinematography, and imagery. Did not hold back on how cruel the setting was. A wonderful slow burn that was also worth it. It's everything I wanted

It used to be that I could "quote" or -subtract keywords to either tell it the result must or must not have those terms and it would be easy, but today even that has begun to feel inefficient (worth doing, but I feel like it doesn't work nearly as well anymore). Search engines just feel busted now.

Yeah, definitely a long running thing for me. I haven't had a real break in years and that may very well be part of it! Now that I have a job that gives PTO, I definitely plan on giving myself some sort of vacation this year.
