currently going through phlebotomy school and i keep thinking about vampire lan wangji (who is a phlebotomist) and wei ying with some form of erythrocytosis (overproduction of red blood cells/ has to have blood drawn regularly to even it out)

i really do love the headcanon that heavenly demons are the only ones that naturally have any sort of mark, and that high-class demons simply find huadian to be very fashionable & a symbol of high status a demon beating bingge (temporarily) in a duel and then trying to wipe it off in some sort of
