While making breakfast this morning I saw this fork in the spoon slot and I got to make a joke to my oldest that sometimes you're Assigned Spoon After Washing (ASAW), but you're really a fork and it's okay to move to the fork slot. 🤣

I see people talk about Bluesky versus Mastodon and AT protocol versus ActivityPub, but I think what they're missing is that ATP decouples the username from the data server, so if you want to self host or move servers you can do those things easily(ish). Just my 2¢.
