Probably a good place to ask this: What would a good course in Semantics of Programming Languages (for interested seniors and grad students) include today? And what would be a good set of texts? We're going through a curricular revision, and the old contents (will post them) look a bit dated.

Surprised to see many scholars talk of Neville Chamberlain's act of appeasement in 1939. The Munich Pact and his "peace in our time" speech were in (September) 1938.

There are many ways that JEE, the IIT entrance exam, can be improved. But I've yet to find a set of more ill-considered ideas about "fixing JEE": indianexpress.com/article/opin...
