The original Geralt of Rivia designer and Polish comics icon, Przemysław “Trust” Truściński, is hosting an exhibition at EC1 in Łódź, Poland. Those visiting the city can see much of his work including his The Witcher designs.

We enjoyed our time with this boat a lot more than the Hanza did theirs! Flatboat Kentucky Straight Single Barrel Bourbon offers sweet notes of apple and caramel and earthier undertones of leather and root vegetables. Worth trying provided you don’t have to fight a troll for it.

Geralt’s adventures in the swamp led us to Ardbeg's Wee Beastie. It's a smoky Islay #scotch with a spiced finish, but there are sweeter notes of brown sugar and apple to be found as well, if you know where to look. We suspect peated scotch lovers won’t need a witcher to finish this one off for them!

The Battle of Montecalvo was full of amazing action sequences & some rather head-scratching tactical decisions. Our kaer morons definitely had us questioning their choices from Philippa’s attempt to brute force a water wheel sans magic to Yen’s refusal to take Vilgefortz out when she had the chance.

We chose Nirvana Indian Single Malt by @pauljohnwhisky as a tribute to Anya Chalotra’s Indian heritage and found it to be very approachable with notes of grape, honey and walnut. An excellent starter whisky for someone interested in single malts, and at a price that won’t break the bank! #whiskey
