Idea: for workers at job sites, a belt-mounted big battery pack that has a 2-3 foot coiled cord (like old phone cords) leading to an adapter plate that fits in a cordless drill or other tool.

This would let you have a big battery without making the tool weigh a ton, and still be mobile.

Every site or application with a feed that can refresh, *especially* if it can refresh automatically without the user taking an action, needs some sort of "wait, go back, I saw something!" action to bring the previous feed context back.

I call it Second Breakfast at Tiffany's.

- Left hand drive

Recommending some cursed pointer types for the next C++ standard.

std::lazy_ptr<T> - when dereferenced, just returns itself. Never gets around to returning the pointee.

std::rand_ptr<T> - when dereferenced, returns a random pointee from all instances of std::rand_ptr in the program.
