I hope that therapist calls back, and I also hope they have availability for a new patient. Today is hard and I don't know why I am struggling so much to emotionally deal with work lately.
It was such a nice holiday weekend, I guess I should just toughen up and keep moving...

Getting back into Book of Hours after a year or so, and I'm impressed with how the writing and tone of the game make you want to explore and uncover EVERYTHING while making you take your time and actually appreciate what you're doing.
(Also having a vague idea of What I Am Doing helps a lot too.)

Oh. And judging from the back of my car when I got home, it looks like that jolt I felt on the way home that I thought was my engine was actually me getting rear-ended at a stoplight.

One of my biggest work pet peeves is when someone misunderstands me, or misunderstands an audit I write, only because they don't actually read anything I wrote and instead respond to what they assume I said.

Today I learned that in HonorMode BG3 one shouldn't be cute and attempt to use Control Undead on the Big Boss of Act 2.
It worked... And the game didn't know what to do. The boss sat there happily 'on my side' as I clobbered it, then the game just sat there as combat continued with no cutscenes.

It's nice to be reminded that one isn't alone in things, no matter what one's brainmeats might be telling one. On loop. With a bullhorn.
Who knew, you can't electrocute a steak and expect logic to fall out. But to forestall the issue, time for two (2) edibles. 20 mg seems a good start.
