Had some time to dig my psp out of storage today in my pre family christmas prep and discovered I've been a victim of the batterypocolyse. I'll have to order a new battery at some point 😫

My roomate picked up a steamdeck a bit over a week ago and the more time I spend with it the more impressed with it I am. It's played everything we've thrown at it, officially supported or not, and the ability to pretty much use it as a portable laptop in desktop mode is amazing

Gotta admit. I'm a little sad a lot of the #GameAwards2024 nominations are remasters or remakes because while yes, they are good, I'd rather give 'best narrative' for example to a new innovative game rather than a story that was great 30 years ago

I swear to God nothing is more fucking frustrating then pulling something apart to repair it only to realise you've bought the wrong part.
But also. I shouldn't have to replace this particular part. Nintendo really bungled the joycon design.

Getting the muscles in my eyes sewn up and tightened is an unpleasant surgery but thankfully I think I'm recovering okay. Thank God for anaesthesia. There's no way I could have gone through that awake.
