This is a longstanding problem with ICE deportations not new to Trump; often they care about just getting that deportation on the record and will deport people facing trial. That means some people can escape prison time by being deported, essentially.

The 4th Amendment is very clear on the definition of what constitutes illegal search and detainment. ICE are clearly violating this constitutional right. Even if you are not that concerned about ICE, you should be very concerned about a government agency willfully violating any constitutional right

I think it is time for States to reactivate their State Guards if they have become inactive and have been rolled under the state’s national guard. State Guards allegiance is only to their state. The administration does not have power over them and their role is to protect their state. MN take note.
