What if the first story you heard about yourself was never yours to begin with what if it was handed to you shaped by fear history and the people who needed the world to look a certain way this season of what’s Ray saying will ask what happens when you finally question that story.

You know most of us don’t remember learning our ABCs, but we remember the first time we learned about race, not because someone set us down and explained it, but because the world showed us, in a look a warning, or silence, those early lessons stay with us longer than you think.

There are historians, there are Storytellers, there are veterans. there are rural black man, there are scholars, and there are people who grew up in illiterate households, and there are people who understand the emotional architecture of race, but there is no one else who is all these things.

Beware of the false profits of media and entertainment, those who make money or have a platform on social media suddenly become experts, justice warriors, and thought leaders by virtue of of nothing more than talking and social media post.

What makes the podcast what’s Ray Saying is there are shows that tell history, but this is a completely different genre. It’s not a history show. It’s not a sociology show it’s not a memoir. It’s not a political show. It’s not a documentary. In fact. It’s all of them and none of them.

There is a huge gap between what people think they know and what they actually know about black American history and culture and the consequences of learning black history through white eyes is significant.

It’s worth noting that in 2026, “America will never be an all White country dominated by a single group again, that ship has sailed and can never turn around. Any belief that it can be is in support of a “Lost Cause”. There will be an ugly backlash against Trump supporters when the tables turn.

Why would you want to perform at the “Peforming Arts Center” for an Administration that wants to destroy evidence of Black abuses and achievements. While adding his name as a monument to his own egotistical legacy Are we only to be the “Entertainment” for the Master and his friends?

My worry is Trump may ask the CIA to kill Zelensky or give Russian assets a way to do it by compromising his security, and providing Russia with intelligence.

Not that it matters just perspective, consider this , I don’t get calls, text or personal E-mails, I have only had 1 visitor in 12 years. Consider what your life could be , be thankful and return the love you get.
