Heads up, eligible Georgia voters: If you voted by mail in the Public Service Commission(PSC) Special Primary, you won’t automatically get a vote-by-mail ballot for the runoff.

You MUST request another one by July 7th!

Don’t wait. Don’t risk it. Make your vote count (again).

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Republicans just passed Trump’s budget bill — not a single Democrat voted for it. This is an utter betrayal of the American people. We won’t forget this.

We the people have boycott power, peaceful protest power, general strike power, and just the power to be relentless pains in the ass until we get what we want.
Come on! Do not shut up!
The people have spoken — and the message is clear: We’re done with oligarchy.

We’re ready for a democracy that puts working-class families first.

Zohran isn’t just saying it — he’s leading the charge. Let’s back him up. 💥✊

Protecting his stock portfolio while ripping away health care from 17 million Americans.

This is Washington at its worst.

We need to ban Congressional stock trading.

As Republicans in Congress rush through Trump’s ugly budget bill, I’m thinking about kids like Delilah, who rely on Medicaid to get the health care they need.

So many people will be hurt because Republicans prioritize tax breaks for billionaires and corporations over lives.

But will Americans remember this? Republicans have been showing us who they are for several years. People still voted for them.
Republicans just passed the Big Ugly Bill. They voted to make health care, food, and utilities more expensive. All to give tax breaks to billionaires.

We only needed 4 Republicans to vote no. Instead, they betrayed the American people. History will remember this. Disgusting.

Mike Johnson just said if you are for reducing the deficit, this bill is for you.

The bill adds 3-4 trillion dollars to the deficit.

They just lie.

FWIW, I think it is very noticeable that the entire Democratic Party is in absolute *lockstep* about messaging this hideous GOP bill: Schumer, Jeffries, Warren, Bernie, AOC, Omar, all unanimous in emphasizing that it *shreds* healthcare for poor people while giving away to the rich

While the Trump regime continues dismantling scientific research in the US and inflicting damage that will take decades to repair (if ever), France and other EU countries are eager to benefit from our brain drain.

Senate Republicans just passed Trump’s horrific budget that will:
-Kick 16 million people off their health care
-Put 300 rural hospitals on the brink of closure
-Close 200 Planned Parenthoods
-Make millions more kids hungry

Now it’s coming back to the House. I’m voting NO.

Met with Christ Hospital to talk about how we can help them better care for folks in SW Ohio – and how this reckless budget bill, which could strip healthcare from 440,000 Ohioans, would impact the hospital.

We're fighting to protect their healthcare.

The Senate’s version of the Big Ugly Bill raises taxes on wind & solar energy.

This will increase utility bills, kill thousands of jobs, and make our electric grid less reliable. (Oh, + gives handouts to the fossil fuel industry.)

Just another reason to stop this horrible bill.

1/4 📢 CDC funding for 2025 is months late, leaving health depts stranded. CDC leaders told NPR the delay appears intentional - “a deliberate effort to grind us to a halt.” We are not surprised 😡. This is a public health emergency manufactured by HHS.
'Where's our money?' CDC grant funding is moving so slowly layoffs are happening
The state and local health departments that rely on CDC funding say the money is not coming in on time and no one can tell them why. Some are laying off staff.
