I'm rewatching Star Wars, hopefully all the way to Ep 9 (which I still haven't seen). Just finished Attack of the Clones, and I'll be honest, I liked the movie as a kid, and still like it now. I'll forgive awkward dialogue for the cool set pieces. And Across the Stars is maybe my favorite SW theme.

I'm rewatching Star Wars, hopefully all the way to Ep 9 (which I still haven't seen). Just finished Attack of the Clones, and I'll be honest, I liked the movie as a kid, and still like it now. I'll forgive awkward dialogue for the cool set pieces. And Across the Stars is maybe my favorite SW theme.
Trying to make filling salads. Still probably not as healthy as it could be (pork belly and chicken thigh protein, and a homemade dressing consisting of mayo, sour cream, and pesto). But it’s filling and tastes good so I’ll take it.

Empire Strikes Back is also a little silly, but at least it’s more on point, even if Palpy is barely in this one. Heck, this almost works better for Return of the Jedi than the one they gave it.

Why does the Disney+ title card for Return of the Jedi look so goofy? Chewy, Jabba, and Yoda are just an odd grouping to highlight for the grand finale of the OT.

Using a combination of glitches in Super Mario World, Yoshi can be taken into the final battle, where he can eat Peach upon Bowser's defeat. With Peach gone, the ending will not play, and Mario and Yoshi will simply stare at each other forever.

Watching a video about someone who read the Revenge of the Sith book without really knowing much otherwise about Star Wars, and her reaction to finding out Anakin Skywalker is in fact famous villain Darth Vader is astounding. An absolute unicorn of circumstances for this to be learned in this way.

A “should have been obvious but I never thought about before” thing that’s kind of gross is that puppies lose their baby teeth just like children when growing their adult teeth. My puppy is at an age where I’m just finding one or two every now and then.

I didn’t make a GOTY thread this year, but if I had, Slay The Princess would have been pretty high in the “didn’t release this year but played this year” section. Great game on a blind playthrough. The VA, art style, dark story, all excellent.

Doing some meal prep, but focusing more on ingredients than final dishes so I can mix it up more as the days go on. Today, chicken quesadillas. Have plenty of rice, pickled onions, and chicken left for bowls and tacos later.
