Christ didn’t come to make us “good.” Christ came to set us free. Good/Bad is a false binary that changes with history & context. The problem with fundamentalisms is always that the other person is bad.

Today, July 29 marks the 49th anniversary of the ordination of The Philadelphia 11 - the 1st women ordained in TEC at the Church of the Advocate, a Black parish led by Fr Paul Washington, a Black priest at the forefront of Black & Gender & Queer liberation. Intersectionality indeed!!
