Witnesses say Cuban immigrant Geraldo Lunas Campos begged ICE guards for meds before being restrained by ICE. Jail guard allegedly said, “Shut up or we’ll make you faint.” Campos cried, “You’re asphyxiating me.” Autopsy found he died from neck/torso compression. Horrifying.

Placing ICE agents who killed Alex Pretti on administrative leave is wrong. Alex/his family/and community deserve a full, transparent investigation and true accountability. No charges/no justice so far. I want to see these officers held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

Alex Peretti, like Renee Good, was not a criminal. He was a victim of state violence of ICE and the Trump administration. Glad to hear Kristi Noem is potentially being impeached, but she also needs to be put in prison for her crimes. Accountability is needed.
