When will we as humans make it past the self-interested, vindictive, and vitriolic people who hoard wealth? During times of great strife and struggle, we should be coming together to support each other. Instead, leadership worldwide is creating more strife.

It would be interesting if President Trump was found incompetent after taking the Oath of office and J.D. Vance immediately became the 48th President. Perhaps this type of event is what was planned all along.

When I was young I dreamt of a society where war, famine and hate were a thing of the past. Instead, I witness a new dark age where greed and isolationism reign supreme. I can only hope that the event that brings humanity together isn't as appalling as the last world war.
