I remember this tragic event vividly. I believe there was a 2-3 year stretch of a few co-ed murders in Normal back in the early to mid 70s.

I dunno it makes sense, but it removes that false sense of gratification that I actually get something for my $100/$200/$300 (or whatever cost), even if it is just a tiny sticker.
