What does a vampire beauty icon do besides going out kicking ghost butt with his best friend? Right, open a spa and beauty salon! With a lot of money to burn and no sense for business whatsoever. A good thing that Ambrose took over in those regards.. When Elijah and River helped a theatre ghost move on by getting the actors back on track so the ghost could have one last perfect performance, Elijah did the makeup for everyone. River was surprised He was this good at this (at this point, he wasn't out as genderfluid and didn't wear makeup in public). After their adventure, they went out and River managed to get him to talk. That's when he confessed a few things. River helped him gain the confidence to just be himself and after a while, He decided he finally wanted to do something with his life. Something he loved. So he bought a glass front building in London and got to work, with Ambrose, to open the Phoenix Atelier. Elijah is very good at what he does and his charme definetly makes people want to come back again and again. He's fiercly loyal and protective of his staff and doesn't let anyone treat them bad. While Elijah can have quite the temper, he's generally very restrained when he's at work. If you don't know yourself to behave, he will put you into your place or even kick you out with the sweetest, most polite smile and voice. Pure grace and dicipline. Or his ADHD medication. Take a pick. Bonus Lore: How Elijah became a famous beauty icon! While he did videos from time to time, that wasn't really serious or getting as much attention as it was now. Elijah once told off a bigoted transphobe/queerphone in the most elegant and polite way, all while a beauty influencer client of his secretly filmed the interaction and put it online. It went viral over night. People nicknamed him the Glampire Queen. Since, he even models and has his own product line.
