I was the publisher of Crab Fat Magazine (2014-2021) & Damaged Goods Press (2015-2022). I published a significant number of new queer & trans writers. I took a break after my twins were born to be a mom. My kids are bigger now & I’m publishing queer & trans writers again @weirdduck.bsky.social.

www.weirdduck.gay is open for submissions from queer and trans nonfiction writers considering the intersection of identity and pleasure. We think of nonfiction in a broad sense, so interpret that as you wish—academic essay, memoir, prose poem, lyric and collage essay. 🌈📚

Queer and trans pleasure is a priority, everyday, & especially now. Sex & joy & nonnormative expressions are what we’re looking for. Asexual pleasure with kink is what we’re looking for. BDSM joy without sex is what we’re looking for. Bruises are beautiful. Nonfiction normalizes.
