My first dog Bruno❤️. Traveling was easy with him. If he was in his bag, he didn’t care what was going on around him, and he was small enough to travel in plane’s cabins. We got to know lots of different places together.

🚫Fireworks 🐶😭

Real life desensitizing worked with my first dog Bruno.
We lived in Sicily where people regularly let off LOUD fireworks to celebrate even the most trivial occasions. He got used to the noise.

Still missing Betty so much, it’s 1.5 years, but sometimes feels like yesterday. She was a traumatized 3-legged former stray. She felt threatened by some everyday situations, but learned to trust me to protect her. She was such a brave girl. And we had so much fun together too!

Something I haven't shared yet - I make toys. I enjoy knitting accessories (as you saw with the Nordic mittens), and sewing and crocheting toys. Some are my own patterns. I'll share crochet another day.

Today, after one year of practicing, for the first time I let Bobbie run off the leash.

She raced around the field, and when I stopped walking, or changed direction, she noticed and came racing back to me. 😄
